After race at Fairyhouse Sun, 4th Apr, 2021 (1st)
She’s as tough as nails. She came home out of Cheltenham better than she was before she left. I was afraid of the ones that hadn’t run in Cheltenham rather than the ones that did. It’s great to have one like her. Everyone wants to have one Grade 1 winner and for me it’s great. I think it’s great for racing as anyone can see now that you can buy a horse cheaply, get a syndicate together and have some fun. The owners are two lads from Dublin, a lad from Wexford and the rest are all from Dubai. There is 100 sitting down today in Dubai for a meal and I’m sure there will be great excitement. I thought that she couldn’t get beat. I knew she came home out of Cheltenham very well.

She has her black-type - It was a great piece of buying and placing by Shark. She had a hard race and got a fall the last day (in Tipperary). Shark had her back in tip-top shape today. Two miles is a bit on the sharp side for her but they have gone so fast it turned into a bit of a stamina test. She was going best at the line. There were a couple of good mares in the race, but I honestly thought she'd finish in the first three.

After race at Gowran Park Mon, 20th Jul, 2020 (1st)
I’m kind of surprised. I knew she was good but I didn’t think she would do anything like that. Ever since I got her she’s after going the right way.

I bought that mare out of Willie's (Mullins) for 600 quid; she was behind my horse Dime A Dozen twice, and I went over to the Sales to buy her. I couldn't believe I bought her for that sort of money. I don't know why she was so cheap, she had no injury and was 100 percent. The crowd who own her (Birdinthehand Syndicate) are from America. She jumped like a buck today but it was probably the worst three-mile maiden hurdle I've seen for a long long time, once you took the favourite Thunder Down Under (pulled up) out of it. We'll go for a handicap mark or look for a conditions' race next. Camlann was the last horse I had which cost 600 quid; unfortunately he broke down yesterday and more than likely will now be retired.
