Jockey Andrew Lynch recorded a timely winner at Fairyhouse today when steering Sizing Codelco to win the E25 Punters Pack Maiden Hurdle for trainer Henry De Bromhead and owners Ann and Alan Potts. Wed 22nd Jan
He didn’t travel as well as he did at Aintree. The ground was a bit deeper today and he’s more of a good ground horse. We are only learning how good he is,. I suppose we’ll look at the Hennessy as he’s that type of horse, and in the spring he could be a National horse.

I'm delighted with that as he's always worked like a nice horse. I thought it was a good run in the four-year-old maiden hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas as there were so many bumper and Flat winners but he was bang amongst them. That was a nice introduction to give him a bit of confidence and we were hoping for improvement and he was good today. He's still babyish and we'll look for a novice hurdle now and see where we go from there. He looks a good horse and a real chaser in the making; he could be exciting . hopefully.
