After race at Bellewstown Fri, 5th Jul, 2019 (1st)
He had run very well in Wexford over two miles in a pipe opener and this had been the plan all along and it came off. Sometimes once in a blue moon you feel you have a horse perfect and he was it. I was just praying I was right!. He's a real terrier, he's not over big but he just gallops and gallops and if something comes to him he puts his head down. He puts everything into it. He is probably best undercooked if anything. Towards the end of last year we probably ran him too much on quick ground and probably soured him a bit. The owners are over from America so it is brilliant. I suppose we will have to look at Galway. It will be a lot harder in Galway but we will have to look at it. For the people that own this, this is their Galway and Cheltenham but we might look at Galway if he sneaks into the bottom of big handicap hurdle on the Saturday or the Sunday over two mile five, two mile six.

After race at Downpatrick Mon, 27th Aug, 2018 (1st)
He jumped left (early) and It's not really his track. We might go left-handed next time even though both of his wins have been at right-handed tracks. If you bounce back to his previous two runs (before Bangor) I still thought he had a win in him. Obviously Bangor was disappointing but I have about six different theories why he didn't run well there - it was very, very warm over there, like swelteringly warm. He's just a galloper, he's tough. He's not a big horse. I have no plans, we might even put him away for next season. He'll jump a fence though. Listen if Listowel came up good or Bangor-On-Dee, we'll be somewhere!. He got quite a bad injury in Bellewstown. He stood on the rail and the chifney bridle slashed through his tongue and he cut about 80 percent of his tongue. He came home and ate up that night but he had to get stitched up and everything. He's a tough horse to come back from that.

After race at Down Royal Fri, 22nd Jun, 2018 (1st)
He had shown bits of form, the ground is important to him. Even though he has a roundy action, he won his point-to-point on good to firm. He's had niggly little issues but he's not a bad, little horse and he's extremely tough. We'll probably head to Bellewstown. That was part of a job done. He won a point-to-point so he'll get three miles.
