It was a super ride by Wesley. He's an enterprising brave young rider. He got things just right and was very strong in the finish,. I'm delighted for the owner/breeder Tony Deegan. He wants to be at every dog-fight going and in fairness to the horse he turns up every time. He's very lucky to have a horse like him. He's a very sound horse and he shows up. He's very easy to train and has a great constitution. That's the seventh win of his career so he is a super horse. We were aiming for Galway and taking each race as it comes. He's probably in better form than ever and it's on to Galway from here. I couldn't be happier with him and I'm delighted for all the connections.

We're delighted with that again. We didn't have to do much with him during the week, only just freshen him up again for today,. The handicapper put him up 14lb and he probably has him now. The jockey gave him a serious ride to get him back up, he was headed by a good horse of Shane Ryder's that lost nothing in defeat. He has a great attitude, he battled back and he did the same in Gowran last year when he won. He's in the groove now, he loves it. He's in at Leopardstown next week but I don't know if he'll run again after that race. We'll see what the handicapper says again.

It was a great ride, Sean is an up and coming rider - he's top class,. He wanted a longer trip on that good ground. He was down at the bottom of the weights and Sean took 7lb off him. He was just in top form today. I should probably run him more often on a Friday! I think that's only the second time he's run on a Friday. He's down to a mark where we'll have a bit of fun with him and hopefully we'll have a race in Galway again for him. He's won there twice and that'll be the aim with him. He needed to win today to come up in the ratings a bit and get in at Galway. The owner is keen to run so he won't wait around too long before running again. That's the fourth time he's won, he's had his issues along the way but he's a sound horse. He runs his race most of the time.

It was an enterprising ride by Killian again. I watched it at the furlong pole and he got headed and battled back. We’re delighted with him. We have him back in a bit of form recently and you don’t get too many opportunities so you have to take them when you get them. There is a race in Galway in about a month’s time and we’ll probably have him out again in that. It’s a track he likes and he loves it in front. The owner (Tony Deegan) bred him and he has the mother at home and a few brothers and sisters. Hopefully he’ll have more coming down the line.

Colin made it look easy on him as he’s a great rider but the horse showed he could do it last week too with that effort at Leopardstown. He had to have a big shout off a similar mark though having said that he’s a tricky sort. He didn’t like going left-handed at Leopardstown and seeing as he enjoyed today he could be back here on Sunday. We’ll have to get someone else then with Colin out (quarantining after his ride on Siskin at Goodwood). We broke this fella ourselves back at base in Birr, and it’s taken him until this season to really come to himself.
