This has actually been the plan all year for this horse and he'd just been disappointing a bit earlier on, but that was on heavy ground. It was much better when he won at Cork last time and that gave him confidence. He jumped great today and he stayed galloping. I'd suppose he might end up a Galway Plate horse. He's a good ground horse anyway and I'll have to treat him like a good ground horse.

We'll go chasing next year but the idea is to go to Fairyhouse and Punchestown - Michael (Buckley, owner) will be over for those meetings and all being well he'll run in both. We'll start him off early next season over fences and he'll be a stronger horse next year to deal with the testing ground.

Mark (Fahey) reported to me that he was hanging out a bit in the straight. He is a big three mile chaser and we'll put him away now and he'll come back over hurdles as his is still only a five year old.
