After race at Cork Sat, 5th Jan, 2019 (disq) 
The plan was to go over fences and he was entered at Naas tomorrow because we couldn't run him with the ground and we came here as an alternative for suitable ground. He is a big strong heavy horse and I was afraid to risk him in Naas even though there was only three in the race. It's a different climate up there,. He has a lot of class but is hard to settle and tanks a bit and needs a bit of minding. He's a buzzy type of horse and we tried a hood on him today and it helped as well. We'll go back over fences now but it is a very short season now.

He was workmanlike in the finish and the other horse was coming back at him. They didn't go a great gallop and I'd say that suited him,. There is another one like this at Punchestown next Sunday, and we'll see how he is during the week.

After race at Galway Sun, 29th Oct, 2017 (1st)
That was grand and he settled a bit better today as he was a little bit keen the last day at Gowran, when he was fresh and well in himself. He jumped adequate today and did it nicely. He's a nice horse and it was always the plan to go for a bumper but after Gowran I decided against a bumper as he was too buzzy and he wouldn't qualify for this race then. This race was worth 20,000 euro and was almost as good as winning a bumper and maiden hurdle. He can't get rated too high for winning that type of race.
