Reports in which Kilnockin Lady (IRE) was mentioned
Review cork 9th May
Adrian Heskin rode a double at Cork, starting when Kilnockin Lady showed plenty of grit to fend off all challengers in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden HurdleFri 09th May
Deserved win for Thekingofconnemara
The Liz Doyle trained Thekingofconnemara gained a deserved and overdue maiden win at Cork today, winning the Friday July 11th BBQ Maiden Hurdle to complete a double for jockey Adrian Heskin. Fri 09th MayO'Brien unsurprised by Kilnockin's 16/1 win
Trainer Terence O'Brien can be forgiven for scratching his head at the seemingly very generous 16/1 S.P. of his Kilnockin Lady, winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle at Cork today. Fri 09th MayGlobalized makes all to open account
Globalized justified favouritism when making all in the concluding three-mile maiden hurdle at Tipperary. Thu 24th AprO'Brien the man to finish it off
The layers got the favourite (Ballychorus, 3rd) beaten in the concluding Goffs Invitational Sale Mares Pro/Am Flat Race at Punchestown but plenty of Irish punters will have signed off for 2013 on a winning note as 4/1 chance Kilnockin Lady scored under Jane Mangan. Tue 31st Dec
After race at Cork Fri, 9th May, 2014 (1st)
she was a crazy price for a mare who was the best in the race on bumper form. Her saddle slipped at Tipperary and prior to that she wasn't comfortable on the tight inside track at Punchestown. I think she's a very good mare but has had loads of problems behind and Paul Townend, who rode her at Punchestown said she was like riding a bike with square wheels. Adrian (Heskin) said she was hanging the whole way today and I think once she goes left-handed she'll be a stone better. We might look at a novice hurdle at Listowel next month if the ground is ok.

After race at Punchestown Tue, 31st Dec, 2013 (1st)
We won the last flat race of the year with Ballyadam Brook and it's nice to win the last National Hunt race now as well.
