He did well from the wide draw. Ronan did well on him, he'd ridden him before,. It's a good trip for him and he likes that surface. He's a big horse and as I said the last day when he won, very few would have had the patience to wait as long on him but Paul's (Rooney, owner) a great man and has got his reward. We'll just keep tipping away with him.

Paul is amazingly patient — it's a pity we can't bottle it!. He's a lovely big horse and we've just had to be very patient with him. Shane said he's still like a big baby. He loves the surface and was in a bracket that we'd thought he'd win. The last day he ran a bit fresh over seven furlongs but has come on nicely at home since. We'll tip away with him here, it seems to be what he likes, and a mile is a good trip for him. Thankfully Paul owned him as not too many would have had that patience with him. He's just a big raw horse. We'll have a bit of fun with him.
