After race at Curragh Sun, 26th Aug, 2012 (1st)
It is great when a plan comes to fruition. He did it well at Tipperary but he was still a green horse there. I was impressed with his attitude more than anything that day so that's why I supplemented him. I knew from Tipperary that he would handle the ground but he doesn't need it soft. I thought Mars and Dawn Approach would come out. This week this horse got new owners and I was keen to run him in this race. Thankfully they were good enough to indulge me. He got a great ride from Chris Hayes who is riding super. He settled him and produced him at the right time. The owners are Team Valor LLC and they are based in America and he will eventually end up over there. He will certainly get further and he is entered in the Beresford Stakes and the Racing Post Trophy. He is not in the National Stakes but everything is on the table.

After race at Tipperary Fri, 10th Aug, 2012 (1st)
He's always been a horse that showed a bit at home. On his pedigree he was always due to start off at seven furlongs so we have not rushed him. He had a nice run first time at Down Royal when he was very green and Michael Cleere looked after him [deadheated for third on July 27]. The natural progression would have been to go for a maiden, but I thought this looked a good opportunity. Chris gave him a lovely patient ride and he always looked to be travelling best in the race. We'll look at his options now . whether we need to supplement him, but he'll be stepping up to Group level now. I'd say there's a good deal more left in him and he should progress.
A Oliver
