Chute records deserved success
After being placed on five of his six racecourse starts, Chute Hall finally got off the mark, as he took the M.D.O´Shea Maiden Hurdle for Tom Cooper. Mon 12th MayTtebob a grand young prospect
It could well have been 'curtains' for Ttebbob (owner David Bobbett's surname spelled backwards) in the Sunday Market At Naas Racecourse Maiden Hurdle after being hampered by the fall of Grand Partner. However that was at a relatively early stage of the three mile contest and he had plenty of time to recover and in the end score impressively under Barry Geraghty. Sun 09th MarFaugheen very much on the upgrade
Faugheen made a smooth transition to hurdling when cantering home under Ruby Walsh in the two mile six maiden hurdle at Punchestown. Sun 17th NovRightdownthemiddle for the layers
Things mightn't have gone exactly to plan for big guns in the market, Thunder And Roses and The Job Is Right, but their efforts in the 10 Euros Admission To All Non Festival Meetings Maiden Hurdle were rather laboured anyway as 12/1 shot Rightdownthemiddle upstaged them all to prevail at Punchestown. Wed 30th OctStar one for the books in the last at Tipp
The layers needed some respite on this programme and Star Counsel's success in the concluding Season Finale INH Flat Race was one for the men and women on the boxes at Tipperary. Tue 08th OctGate gains deserved win in finale
Ivy Gate got a lovely run through on the rail to claim the concluding bumper at Listowel this evening. Wed 18th SepMeain proving popular at Listowel
A good card at Listowel today has obviously caught the punters imagination with plenty of action in the betting markets before racing. Wed 18th Sep
After race at Killarney Mon, 12th May, 2014 (1st)
