Leopardstown Thu, 20th Jun, 2024  Williamstowndancer I think she just needed the run. It’s great for a local syndicate from Blackrock and I think there was 37 of them here today so the pressure was on. That’s great to get a flat win into that pedigree. She’s in foal to Fascinating Rock and we’ve leased her off John O’Connor (breeder). If we get into the Galway Hurdle we might go there next. The plan was to come here because the boys are all locals and hopefully that run will bring her on.

Kilbeggan Sun, 2nd Jun, 2024  Dysart Dazzler He’s very green, a big baby and not like his brother (Dysart Dynamo). He was behind the bridle all the way and I was always going to win but he was just very lazy and didn’t switch on into race mode. I think he’ll improve a lot mentally rather than fitness wise and I’d imagine three miles might be more his thing.

Listowel Sat, 1st Jun, 2024  La Note Verte She hated the ground first-time out and is a real summer mare. She is not very big, is light-boned and will run away during the summer. I think as racing went on today, they were going wider and wider and with no chases and six hurdle races, it was getting more chewed up than normal. There was no pace, she was fit and had a run so I decided to go on and it worked out. I think there is a bit more there with her and I imagine she will go jumping now, although she might strengthen up with a break so we'll see what Willie thinks.

Ballinrobe Mon, 27th May, 2024  Kalix Delabarriere He was doing everything right at home. He's by a great stallion in Galiway and has a lovely pedigree. We didn't get him to Punchestown for the Land Rover (Bumper), but we were more than happy to come to Ballinrobe. Mystical Power won this race last year and we're not afraid to bring a good horse up here. We might let him off, we'll see what Willie says, but he's been in training all winter so might just benefit from a break. I think there's a lot of improvement, mentally, in him and he's a horse with a big future.
