The first two home showed good gears in the closing stages after coming from behind to throw down challenges in the straight.

Total Excitement was settled last before making up ground on the top turn. He improved to fifth early in the straight and showed a smart turn of foot to lead under two furlongs out.

He galloped on strongly to land the spoils from Monty Blue, who was ridden to challenge two furlongs out.

He couldn't go with the winner but stuck to his task well and kept his rival honest in the final furlong.

Blame The Missus improved to third turning in but couldn't quicken two furlongs out after he had moved up to challenge.

Sigma Lifestyle looked a bit one paced, staying on again in the closing stages after looking well beat two furlongs out.

Darby's Turn was a close second throughout and moved to the front before the turn. He had no more to offer when headed under two furlongs out but kept on.
