You could argue that (tough by name and nature). He qualified for the race in Laytown and Derek (O'Connor) just did what he did. He leads all our work at home and he is very, very straightforward at home. That was lovely and he is a fine horse - he's a gorgeous horse, but he's off to the Sales and we've had our time with him. You don't ever want to lose them, but we have had our time with him and it is what the policy is. They sell at a certain level and that is where he is, you can't keep running in Dundalk with him. He was a quality two-year-old and was held up as a three-year-old. It has taken us this long to get him right and then you saw him on the beach (Laytown).

We've run three and they've all run as expected. I said to Colin going out, take your time, go through the gears and hit the line strong. If you win you win but if you don't we'll win the next day, simple as. He's a horse we've always liked. He took it all in and was squealing and shouting in the ring beforehand, it's the first time I've heard him roar since he came to me. It's his first time away from home and first time on grass so there should be plenty of improvement. We'll keep it local and let him tell us when and where we'll start him back but it'll be in Ireland.
