After race at Cork Mon, 5th Aug, 2024 (1st)

I was wondering whether to drop her in distance for this 2m2f race but I've won this race for the same owners in the past and also finished second in it. . This was my plan after winning in Kilbeggan and while the second and third-placed horses ran stinkers since, I can only worry about my own mare. She came back in mighty form so I really fancied her today. I trained her dam and both mares have been my only two winners on the racecourse as I do mostly breaking and pre-training horses. Her owners, the Sheehans from Ballyduff, have been brilliant to me and Backinthere, the dam, was a great mare for me. There's a big gang supporting us today and I've to thank Jimmy Mangan, Liam Burke and Micheal Griffin as I use their gallops sometimes.
