I think the chiffony (type of bit) and the hood made a big difference to him. Also the fast ground and they went a faster pace so it was easier to settle him. He is starting to look like the horse we thought he was earlier in the season. I don't know whether Punchestown will come too soon, we will see how he comes out of this.

he has improved a hell of a lot especially in his jumping, from Leopardstown. The ground wouldn't be what he wants but he certainly improved a lot; when he got the gap before the last he quickened up in a few strides and I thought he was pretty impressive.
