He is tough and very like his daddy. He is getting better with age. He likes fast ground and a mile and a quarter is no problem for him. We will look for a Group race for him now.

I'm delighted with that. Those Dukes (sire Duke Of Marmalade) seem to improve from two to three. He won twice last year with good tough performances. The Duke was like that himself . a hardy, tough horse.

It got tough there in the end but he's a tough horse,. I think he's one that will progress. The premier nursery at Listowel is probably a race we'll look at. I think it's about 20 years since I was last here back when I was riding as an amateur. I have to say I'm really impressed with the track - it looks in great condition.

He kept it uncomplicated and he was genuine. He will be better on nicer ground as it is very soft out there. I think that is one of Duke's (sire Duke Of Marmalade) first winners and we have a few nice ones at home. He was very green in front but it was his first time on a track like that.
