She won nicely as we hoped she would. She doesn't do a lot in front . I thought she was going to win two lengths but she was dossing in front. The ground is gone a bit for her, she wants good to firm . she loves that. I think we'll give her another shot at a Group 1, in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket. She's good at seven furlongs but we'll give her one more shot at a mile.

She just got there and came from a long way back,. She nearly won twice and her two early runs taught her to settle. Seven-and-a-half to nine furlongs might be her trip. She's not in the Matron and it might be a bit much to supplement her. It's good now that she's won two Listed races.

Alanza stayed well. We thought seven furlongs was her trip but it looks like a mile or further is the best distance. She ran twice this year over six furlongs and it helped to settle her down. She was quite keen early on in life. She is bred to go a bit in distance. She is doing things right now. She has no big entries. We were going to go to the Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary over seven and a half furlongs but we'll see. Maybe she wants further.
