Eceparti (FR), trained by Venetia Williams, was late in the Parade Ring due to difficulty saddling the gelding.
The Stewards considered the running of Love Lane (IRE), ridden by Nathan Brennan and trained by Henry Oliver, which was pulled up.
Henry Oliver could offer no explanation for the mare’s performance other than Nathan Brennan had reported that Love Lane (IRE) was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Isabel Williams reported that On The Road (IRE), placed sixth, was outpaced from halfway.
