An enquiry was held to consider why Anthony Honeyball was running Kilconny Bridge (IRE) here at Ludlow on going described as Soft, Heavy in Places, having declared the mare a non-runner at Fontwell on 23 February 2020 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer explained that in his opinion, the ground at Fontwell was riding softer than the official going description and had further deteriorated following heavy rainfall.
He was therefore happy for Kilconny Bridge (IRE) to take its chance and run here on this occasion on less testing ground.
