John Flint was fined £140 as the record of vaccinations in the passport of With Pleasure (GB) did not comply with the Rules of Racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the home straight involving The Mighty Ash (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mr Michael Legg, No No Tonic (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Mr Fergus Gillard, and Age Of Wisdom (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joshua Moore.
The interference was found to be accidental as The Mighty Ash (IRE) had shifted sharply left-handed away from the whip at the same time as No No Tonic (GB) had edged slightly right-handed, resulting in Age Of Wisdom (IRE) being short of room.
Being a 7lb claimer, Gillard was offered the opportunity to have someone accompany him in the enquiry, but declined.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, True Thoughts (IRE), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Laura Young was interviewed.
Her comments that the gelding had benefitted from the drop down in trip to 2 miles 4 furlongs and the reapplication of the tongue-strap were noted and True Thoughts (IRE) was routine tested.
