That was nice, but he was entitled to win, and he’s going to have to improve if we step up. I think he’ll probably want three miles as he’s a big horse and probably lacks a gear. He shouldn’t get a crazy mark off that win and we’ll probably look at a handicap or a rated novice hurdle. He’s a good jumper of hurdles and he’ll probably go chasing next year, but he needs more experience before he does that. He’s really a next-year horse. Liz Doyle, trainer
