An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final ½ furlong when the winner Cudgel (GB), ridden by Jamie Hamilton interfered with Hidden Cargo (IRE), placed second, ridden by Thomas Dowson.
Hamilton was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left without sufficient correction taking Dowson off his intended line.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Shaka The King (IRE), placed third, was found to be lame behind.
