Danny (Mullins) said the last day he didn't like going left-handed and he is what he is as a handicap chaser. Good ground is the key to him and he might get another win hopefully, as he is also well handicapped over hurdles.

The Stewards interviewed Patrick Carey, trainer of Seskin Flyer, regarding the late arrival of his charge into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that his charge was wearing both a hood and tongue tie and became very up set when applying the tongue tie which caused the delay and apologised for this. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards reminded the trainer of his future responsibilities under Rule 32, to have his charge in the parade ring on time in the future
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Lash It On trained by C.Byrnes was found to have blood on his left nostril post race.
