The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Mistercobar (FR), compared with its previous run at Leicester on 15 February 2020 where the gelding finished fifth of nine runners, beaten by 37 lengths was considered.
Olly Murphy's comments that Mistercobar (FR) had settled better having been ridden with a little more restraint on this occasion were noted and the gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that High Noon (IRE), placed second, lost his left-fore shoe.
