The Corby Glenn (6/4f) was a warm favourite in a moderate contest and got the job done.

Ruby Walsh waited in midfield before making his move before two out. He hit the lead before the penultimate flight and stayed on strongly to land the spoils.

The winner had run well under waiting tactics at Down Royal on St Patrick's Day and that form was enough to give him a leading chance in this.

Trainer Barry Potts said the gelding might go to Punchestown if he gets into a handicap while a run at his local track, Sligo, looks a more likely target.

Kylegarra Lady chased the leaders throughout before picking it up after the third last. She had no more to offer when headed by the winner but kept on.

This was a better effort after some moderate runs although the standard of contest wasn't great.

Caher Lass made ground up to go fourth two and kept on to third before the last without getting at the front two.

Adalari had made good ground up three out but had no more to offer before the second last, staying on at the same pace.

Golden Blossom tracked the leaders but lost her place after the third last before staying on again from the second last.

Dorneys Well looked set to play a hand in the finish when improving into second before two out. He faded tamely after the flight, however.

Bleu Run and Alkar were both non-runners due to stone bruises.
