it's good to get and they're lucky colours (Clipper Logistics Group Ltd) for us; we had a very good filly a few years ago, Agnes Stewart, who ran in those colours. This one is a half-sister to Fort Del Oro so it's job done now and I'd say she can go to the breeding shed after that. It's nice that we finally got to win; we always thought that we'd win a maiden with her but didn't think it'd take until September 29th 2056 or whatever it is! We got there in the end. The Stewards interviewed Amy O'Hanlon, rider of Al Batal (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg. 10. 3.(g) by using the whip with the arm above shoulder height and having taken her good record into account cautioned the rider

The Stewards requested a report from Edward Lynam, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Hot Stone, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this filly was returning to maiden company from handicap company last time. The testing ground at Listowel ended up being less than ideal compared to today's surface and she was also tried without any headgear today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
