We've had a great week thank god! I was a bit worried pulling him out again after he ran over four miles here on Thursday. He did it so easy and I'm delighted for Nina, Drombeag ran a cracker too. We're thinking of going to France, there are running a new cross-country series on the 13th of May. The race is over four and a half miles and is worth one hundred and twelve thousand. He likes good ground and L'Ami maybe considered for the race too. E Bolger, trainer

A steeplechase for five yrs old and upwards.
Weights - 5-y-o 10st 12lb; 6-y-o and up 11st 7lb; Mares allowed 5lb
Penalties - (to count from 1st January, 2008) Winner of a steeplechase to carry 5lb extra for each steeplechase won. No penalty to increase a horse's weight beyond 12st 7lb.
Riders - 1. Persons who hold a Professional Jockeys Licence under National Hunt Rules to ride in Steeplechases issued by any Recognised Turf Authority. 2. Persons who hold a Permit to Ride under I.N.H.S. Rules, Category B or Category C. 3. Persons who hold a Permit to Ride under National Hunt Rules to ride in Steeplechases issued by any other Recognised Turf Authority. The Stewards of the I.N.H.S. Committee have suspended Rule 52 (iv) to enable horses which run in this race (excluding the winner) to retain their Hunters Certificates for the remainder of the Point To Point Season. The Stewards have also suspended Rule 135 (i) and (iii) for the purposes of this race.
