An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bend after the fourth last fence when Max Do Brazil, placed second (FR), ridden by Tom Scudamore, interfered with the winner Mustmeetalady (IRE), ridden by Jonjo O’Neill Jr.
The interference was found to be accidental and caused by Max Do Brazil jumping to its left at 4 out and moving back to the rail, at the same time as Mustmeetalady (IRE) tried to improve its position on the inside as they approached the rail on the final bend.
