He has been a great horse for the lads, that's the fourth race he is after winning. He won two at Dundalk and he is after winning two over hurdles now. We will see if the ground stays okay we might continue over hurdles and if not he will probably appear at Dundalk at some stage over the winter. He could go for something like this again or else we could try him off a low weight in a more valuable handicap. He should stay further. He got a mile and a half well on the Flat and all he does is battle. He is not the most impressive at home but the last two days he easily could have come out the wrong side of it but he stuck the head down well both times. R. Walsh, rider of Cool Colonnade trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the hurdle past the stands and never travelled thereafter

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cool Colonnade, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis. .

A novice hurdle race for four yrs old and upwards which, at entry, are rated 106 or less , also open to horses rated 107-116
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 10lb; 5-y-o and up 11st
Penalties - Performances before 24th October for every 1lb above the rating of 106 1lb extra; On or after 24th October for each hurdle race won 4lb extra; Note : Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 116 or less.
