The winner, Kadex (FR), appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Warwick on 25 September 2023, where the gelding finished seventh of eight finishers beaten 38 lengths.
Lucy Wadham’s explanation that Kadex (FR) had a 166-day break prior to its Warwick appearance and stripped fitter for that run as well as having its second run after a wind operation, was noted.
Kadex (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Ya Know Yaseff (IRE), placed second, lost both its right fore and left fore shoes.
