< Deor claimed the scalp of smart chaser Rock The World in the Owenavarragh (QR) Maiden at Wexford.
Nina Carberry was always in control of matters on the front end and didn't look unduly concerned when Rock The World loomed up half a mile from the finish.
Deor had plenty left to give and Carberry eased John Kiely's 11-4 shot away in the straight for a 10-length call.< Fiuntach got Jim Bolger off the cold list in the Hen And Stag Parties At Wexford Racecourse Median Auction Fillies Maiden.
In first-time blinkers, the 9-4 chance wore down market principals Evening Hush and Multiviz in the final furlong and accounted for the former by a neck, with the staying-on Arya Tara the same distance away in third.< Runmhar looked like following up for Bolger in the Wexford Median Auction Maiden when taking the lead off Monocle with almost half a mile to travel, only for her rival to regain the initiative.
However, tracking then both was Zilbiyr (5-1), who showed that little bit more stamina when push came to shove and saw off Monocle by three-quarters of a length.
Bolger went close again with Bridle Path in the Campile Apprentice Handicap but she was grabbed by 9-4 favourite Whats The Plot < Eddystone Rock beat Shinghari and Rainfall Radar when third at Limerick and confirmed that superiority to land the www.wexfordraces.ie Maiden as the 7-4 favourite.
Connor King was happy to bide his time, but brought Johnny Murtagh's gelding with his challenge over a furlong out and he proved two and a quarter lengths too strong for Rainfall Radar.< Credit The Giver (2-1 favourite) had been bumped up 10lb for an emphatic Naas success last month, but that didn't matter as he followed up in the Phelim Byrne's Seasuir At Wexford Racecourse Handicap for Aidan and Donnacha O'Brien.< Masonbrook Lady (9-4) was yet another favourite to oblige, this time in the Black Point Handicap.
