Review tipperary 9th Jul
< Requinto showed a clean pair of heels to his rivals to take the feature Listed race at Tipperary in tremendous style for the David Wachman team.
The trainer had two runners in the Danehill Dancer Tipperary Stakes and the betting suggested Experience was the number one as she went off the 8-15 favourite, but she never got into the race.
Requinto (7-2) was sharply away under Wayne Lordan and though he had company for most of the way, he quickened clear when it mattered and had three and a half lengths to spare over An Ghalanta at the line.
There was plenty of support for Aidan O'Brien's unraced colt Furner's Green ahead of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden and the son of Dylan Thomas obliged in eyecatching style.
Brought up from the rear by Joseph O'Brien to sit behind the leaders on the turn in, the 5-2 favourite found an impressive stride down the outside and surged past stablemate Battle Of Saratoga to win by three lengths.< Brazilian Breeze went into the Knockanglass Stables Maiden with much the best form and the 4-11 favourite won nicely enough under Declan McDonogh, who was on his way to a treble.
The jockey was travelling best as they entered the final quarter-mile and he didn't have to get serious as Kevin Prendergast's filly held Sovereign Secure by three-quarters of a length.
McDonogh also won on Acushladear (11-4 favourite) in the Ballykisteen Handicap and the penalised Ucanchoose (9-4 favourite) in the Active Retirement Handicap, on both occasions grabbing the best ground on the stands rail.
John Coleman's Sean Og Coulston (12-1) wore down the front-running Hurricane Twister close home to take the Summer Sunday On 17th July Handicap by three-quarters of a length under Niall McCullagh.
The jockey completed a double when John Oxx's Cape Of Good Grace (2-1 joint-favourite) put in a stylish display to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden by three and a half lengths.
