Review punchestown 19th Nov
< Landofhopeandglory made it two from two over timber with a dominant display in the Luna Bar Supporting Cavan GAA 3-Y-O Hurdle at Punchestown.
The ex-Ballydoyle inmate shot to the top of the ante-post lists for the Triumph Hurdle when making a successful start to life with Joseph O'Brien 12 days ago and followed up with the minimum of fuss.
He was still on the bridle when hitting the front on the run to the final flight and Mark Walsh didn't have to ask for too much of an effort for the 4-6 favourite to stroll four lengths clear of stable companion Zig Zag < Let's Dance added a Listed victory to her placings at the top level last season with a dogged success in the Frontline Security Grabel Mares Hurdle.
The Willie Mullins-trained 4-6 favourite looked in trouble when Shattered Love shot clear after the third-last, but Ruby Walsh kept at her and she knuckled down to prevail by two and three-quarter lengths.
Mullins and Walsh followed up when Haymount made all in the Gain Supporting Laois GAA Beginners Chase.
The 6-1 chance saw off the persistent threat of Woodland Opera before stretching three and a half lengths clear of Coney Island and Mall Dini in impressive fashion.
There has been a strong word for Mullins' Senewalk for quite a while but he could only manage sixth in the Kildare Now Maiden Hurdle.
The prize went to Noel Meade's Moulin A Vent who stayed on strongly after the last to account for Minella Till Dawn by two and a quarter lengths.< Rogue Trader was last sighted letting down favourite-backers at the Festival here but was back with a bang in the Irish Daily Mirror Handicap Chase, beating Art Of Payroll by two and a quarter lengths at odds of 6-1.
Enda Bolger's domination of the Risk Of Thunder Chase continued thanks to 3-1 favourite Cantlow while 4-5 favourite Presenting Percy took the Festival 3 For 2 Ticket Offer Novice Handicap Hurdle and Jimmy Breekie won the Racing At Punchestown Tomorrow (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
