Review naas 21st Sep
< Noivado s victory in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Race was the highlight of a Naas treble for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane.
Lyons' youngster had to concede weight all round but that didn't stop the money coming for him and he was sent off the 11-8 favourite.
Keane was allowed an uncontested lead and when pressed by main market rival Elusive Beauty two furlongs from home, pulled out plenty to sprint clear and cross the line three and three-quarter lengths ahead of Cloistered
Lyons and Keane doubled up when Doctor Geoff proved to be in a different league to his rivals in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden.
The 11-8 market leader tracked the front group but powered to the head of affairs just outside the furlong pole and strode nicely clear to dispose of Perfect Storm by four lengths.
The three-timer was completed by Territory in the Racing Again October 16th Maiden.
The son of Acclamation was the well-backed 11-4 favourite to account for a field of fellow debutants and did so by beating Saltonstall by two and three-quarter lengths.
Aidan O'Brien's Courage Under Fire was workmanlike rather than spectacular in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.
The 9-10 favourite beat all bar brilliant stable companion Caravaggio in the Phoenix Stakes and showed early speed on his first try at five furlongs, but Donnacha O'Brien had to ask plenty of questions for him to see off Porto Ferro by half a length.< Grecian Divine (9-2) showed excellent resolution to hold Sammyjade in a thrilling finish to the Book Hospitality Online Nursery Handicap for Denis Hogan and Seamie Heffernan.< Dinky Inty (12-1) and Bouquet Garni fought tooth and nail during the last furlong of the Panoramic Restaurant At Naas Claiming Race, with the former just prevailing, while Olympic Legend (10-1) repelled the late lunge of Duck Egg Blue in the naasracecourse.com Nursery Handicap.
