The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Navan saw Ballydoyle’s Tango justify odds of 1/6 with the minimum of fuss under Donnacha O’Brien.
Second at the Curragh on debut on May 24th, the successful daughter of No Nay Never went a place better, leading over a furlong out to beat But You Said by two and a half lengths.
Paddy Power now go 14/1 first show about Tango for the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
“It was very smooth. I travelled well, quickened up well and put it to bed easy,” said the winning rider.
“I don't know how good of a race it was but it felt very easy today and I'm sure she's smart, definitely a black-type class filly.
“I'd imagine she'll go to Royal Ascot for something, the Albany or Queen Mary or something like that, but I'll leave that to Dad.
“I think she'll get a little bit further but she has pace for six.”
