Review listowel 12th Sep
Justice was arguably seen to be done when Magical Memoir gained revenge for her Galway demotion when winning in style at Listowel.
The decision to relegate Magical Memoir to second place in favour of Days Ahead was a controversial one, although the decision was subsequently upheld on appeal.
However, Jessica Harrington's charge this time had her old rival five and a half lengths back in second place in the Dawn Omega Milk 3YO Hurdle - without any need to consult the stewards.
The 3-1 favourite, ridden by Barry Geraghty, was completing a 51-1 double for the stable.
The County Kildare handler was capping a successful weekend after the win by Pathfork in the National Stakes at the Curragh before she left for the Keeneland Sales in America.< Tango Knight (12-1) had initiated the brace by taking the Charleville Cheese Maiden Hurdle in the hands of Robbie Power.
