< Rock On Fruity finally got off the mark over fences in the Galway Plate Trial Handicap Chase, the feature race at Limerick.
Despite failing to score in 13 previous chase attempts, Charles Byrnes' charge travelled smoothly throughout and moved into contention as they turned for home.
Frontrunner Definite Soldier put up a fight but a fine lead at the last sealed the deal for Mark Enright's mount who scored by three-quarters of a length at 7-1.
That was Byrnes' second winner on the card after his Denham Sound completed a hat-trick for Davy Russell in the division one of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle.
The jockey produced the 6-1 chance at the last before pulling seven lengths clear of Knockraha King in convincing fashion.
Gordon Elliott provided Russell with the first two winners of the afternoon, starting with An Caisteal Nuadh (4-1) in the Limerick Racecourse Family Fun Day Maiden Hurdle.< Riverrainshine blazed a trail but Russell's mount loomed large on the run in and scooted four and a half lengths clear after jumping into the lead at the last.
Elliott and Russell quickly followed up in the Atomic Chicken Play Live On 22nd July Rated Hurdle courtesy of Knockmaole Boy (4-1j), who held the late charge of Lord Justice by a head.< Baily Moon (7-1) reversed form with Top Of The Town when regaining the winning thread in the Michael English Country Music Night 27th July Chase.
The latter was a disappointing 7-4 favourite in fifth as the Mouse Morris-trained winner took it up turning for home and kept on well to record a two-and-three-quarter-length verdict over Thanks For Tea < Valgor Du Ronceray looked to be on his way to a victory in the Book Online At Limerickraces.ie Beginners Chase but a mistake at the last let in Cable (14-1), who got up in the dying strides with a length a quarter to spare.< Ainsi Va La Vie (11-8fav) created a nice impression for Willie Mullins when making a winning debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Flat Race by 10 lengths from Osco Mosco
