< Mr Cracker put up a sterling front-running display to lift the Greenmount Park Novice Chase at Limerick.
Adrian Heskin decided to make the Grade Two contest a true-run affair dictated affairs from flag fall.
He quickly had the 9-4 shot jumping well and was always going better than his closest pursuer The Hurl and had his measure when the 2-1 favourite came down at the penultimate flight.< C'est Ca was a distance away in second place while Kakagh came home in his own time to claim third prize money.
Trainer Michael Hourigan, who also saddled Dancing Tornado to win this race 12 months ago, said: "He's a nice horse and he'll improve a lot on better ground and going left-handed.
"He's a superb jumper and he might go for a novice chase at Cheltenham in January. He is entered in the Moriarty at Leopardstown but I'm not sure about that.
"His main target could be the Powers Gold Cup at Fairyhouse. He's one to look forward to."
Outsider of three Rory Anna (4-1) sprang a surprise in the O'Kelly Brothers Demolition & Environmental Contractors Hurdle.
John Joe Walsh's mare put two Gigginstown House Stud-owned geldings, Big Game Hunter and Sounds Of Jupiter, in their place.
She went on under Eddie Power before the second last and defeated Sounds Of Jupiter by eight lengths.
Said Walsh: "She is a lucky mare. That's her second win over hurdles and she jumps well, stays well and goes on this ground. We'll go for something similar now."
Walsh and Power were denied a double when Stony Grey Soil ran out at the final flight and jumped the rail when leading the field in the Guinness Handicap Hurdle.
His dramatic exit left the way clear for the 7-2 favourite Flemensford to score for trainer Eric McNamara and 7lb claimer Robert Jones.
