Review limerick 15th Mar
Davy Russell was the jockey to follow at Limerick with a terrific 120-1-plus treble on Oligarch Society Moskova and Washington Lad
Highlight was the victory of Moskova in the feature Irish Stallion Farms EBF Dawn Run Mares Novice Chase.
Russell kept the grey to the outside throughout the two-and-three-quarter-mile journey and towards the rear in the early stages.
The move paid off as the 9-4 favourite pulled clear in this Grade Three heat to score by five and a half lengths from Leanne with Go Sandy Go third.
"She went on the wide outside as there was a nice bit of ground there," said trainer Paul Nolan.
"She handles this better ground and hopefully there's more improvement in her.
"She'll step up to three miles now as she seems happier over further. She'll run in Fairyhouse and Punchestown provided the ground is safe."
Russell had earlier partnered Oligarch Society to claim the Dawn Omega Milk EBF Mares Novice Hurdle.
The 15-8 favourite, trained by Michael O'Brien, defeated Earth Move by six lengths.
Winner on her hurdles debut at Gowran in November, she had tasted defeat when fourth to subsequent Cheltenham victor Go Native at Naas last month.
"Hopefully she'll go to Fairyhouse and Punchestown. She'll go chasing next year, she's a nice filly," said O'Brien.
"She'll be valuable now she's got some black type."
Washington Lad (12-1), trained by Pat Fahy, made it three for Russell with a seven-length call over Four Chimneys in the Charleville Cheese Handicap Chase.
Jessica Harrington, who went close with runner-up Horner Woods in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham, sent out Pontiac to win the Limerick GAA Supporters Maiden Hurdle by five lengths.
"He'll probably have one more run in a three-mile hurdle before we call it a day for the season," said the County Kildare trainer.
