< News At Six completed a hat-trick in the Peter Hook & The Light Race, the feature race at Leopardstown.
The rapidly improving son of New Approach built on his breakthrough victory in the Apprentice Derby with an 11-length romp at Fairyhouse, and justified odds of 4-5fav to complete a hat-trick.
However, Jim Bolger's four-year-old didn't have it all his own way as Nonchalant refused to go down without a fight when headed over a furlong out and made the winner work for his half-length success.
That completed a double for Bolger and jockey Kevin Manning following Teocht s victory in the Leopardstown Handicap.
The 7-1 shot did battle with Golden Shoe before eventually pulling two and three-quarters of a length clear of Korbous who got up on the line for second.
Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen went one better with a treble, starting with Sarafiyla in the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Maiden.
Following an encouraging debut, the Azamour filly was sent off 4-5 favourite for the opening race of the night and didn't disappoint as she pulled two and a three-quarter lengths clear of King Schultz
Fellow Weld inmates Hellenistic (9-2), who put six and a half lengths between herself and Hannah's Magic in Leopardstown Summer Membership Handicap, and Starlet (4-7fav), a five-length winner of the rish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Fillies Maiden from Ode To Psyche ran out even easier winners.
Gordon Elliott got on the scoresheet with Bayan in the Leopardstown Club Membership Handicap.< Strandfield Lady made a bold bid from the front but was swamped in the final furlong by Stocktons Wing and Bayan (3-1fav), who flashed home on the outside to score by a length and a quarter lengths.< Rayna (5-2fav) continued the good night for favourite-backers in the Follow Leopardstown On Facebook Apprentice Handicap.
John Oxx's Tramore maiden winner pulled well clear along with Blue Ridge Lane and Madam Mo before forging a length and a half ahead of the latter to complete a double.
