Another intriguing mixed card greets day three of the Killarney Festival, with the John J. Galvin Handicap Hurdle the highlight.

Fergal O'Brien will have high hopes for his British raider Don Padeja, but Bitview Colin, Runyon Rattler and Undefined Beauty all come into the race on the back of recent successes.

Tony Martin's Dollar And A Dream ran a cracker to be third in a Galway handicap last time, though, and he could prove the one to beat in a highly competitive event.

Martin has claims on the level here as well, with his Artful Artist heading the weights for the Plaza Hotel Handicap.

The Galway second has Edward O'Grady's Prickly and Jim Bolger's Runmhar among a host of rivals, though possibly the pick of those on display is Three Star General.

Aidan O'Brien's colt has been consistent without winning in maidens and embarks on a handicapping career off a mark of 75.

O'Brien also runs Hibiscus in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden, who may not have to improve much on her debut Gowran third to get the better of Dermot Weld's Dundalk second Zamira and Bolger's Lorendano.

Weld runs All Crazy Now in first-time cheekpieces as he bids for a first success in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nursery, which gets the meeting under way at 5.20.

A close-up fourth in a Gowran nursery last time, connections will be hoping a 1lb lower mark may be enough for him to see off Joseph O'Brien's pair of Pronounced and Sweetasever.

Weld also runs The Moore Factor in the Kelly Foley And Co In Association With Lloyd Fitzpatrick Rated Race, but the Rosehill House handler was foiled at Galway by Tony The Gent and Ger Lyons' gelding will be out to repeat the dose.

The veteran Slieveardagh takes on four-year-old Carraigin Amour among others in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle, while the Irish Examiner Maiden Hurdle could be between St Stephens Green and Chance It.
