Sun 3rd May 2009, 18:00

Trainer John Oxx and jockey Mick Kinane celebrated their Classic success at Newmarket with a double at Gowran Park.< Alaivan and Miss Keller did the Currabeg team proud following on from Sea The Stars' win in the 2000 Guineas.

Alaivan showed the benefit of his debut fifth in a Leopardstown maiden with an-all-the way in the Gowran Park Classic Trial.

Kinane had him smartly out of the stalls to dictate affairs from the front and the 8-1 shot found more in the straight to come home five lengths clear of Fergus McIver with Sirgarfieldsobers third

Oxx said: "He was receiving a maiden's allowance but won well - I must say when I saw the declarations I thought it might be a bit tough but he quickened well and stayed on well. He's a useful horse.

"She might run in the Windsor Forest at Royal Ascot next and she could have another race before then," said Flynn.

Aidan O'Brien's Air Chief Marshal justified odds of 2-5 with an eight-length romp in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden.

The Danehill juvenile is now 8-1 favourite with Cashmans for the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.

"He's very genuine and very straightforward. He sealed it in a few strides," said jockey Seamus Heffernan.< Zorija Rose gave trainer Tommy Stack his seventh win of the season with a length victory under Billy Lee in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap.

Stack's son and assistant Fozzy Stack said: "Zorija Rose loves tha
