< Hat Alnasar registered his third win of 2016 in the Titanbet.co.uk Handicap at Dundalk.
Michael Halford's 4-1 joint-favourite has been plying his trade at a mile so, over a furlong shorter, Kevin Manning was wise to make use of his stamina by sending him straight to the front.< Northern Surprise who beat Hat Alnasar twice towards the end of last year, came with a challenge, and the ever-reliable Split The Atom was also in there pitching, but Hat Alnasar fought hard and flashed past the post a head to the good.
Aidan O'Brien was responsible for three of the eight runners in the Download The Titanbet Sports App Handicap, including favourite Stone Mountain but it was Ineffable who prevailed.
Less than a length separated five of them with half a furlong to travel but the Michael Hussey-ridden 10-1 shot, who had dictated terms to suit himself in front, stuck his neck out gamely to repel Lex Talionis by a short head, with Spruce Meadows third.
O'Brien won't have many horses rated just 50 in his care but Sea Of Blue (9-1) capitalised on that mark in the Titanbet.co.uk Handicap to initiate a brace for the Ballydoyle maestro.
Dermot Weld introduced a nice debutant in the Big Bad Bob Fillies Maiden, with Va Pensiero (7-1) registering a clear-cut success.
Always to the fore, the High Chaparral filly knew what was required of her and knuckled down well in the hands of Pat Smullen to beat favourite Ruby Gates by a length and a quarter.
For the second time in a week, Weld's Sir Raston let down favourite-backers, this time in the Bet & Watch At Titanbet.co.uk Maiden.
The odds-on market leader crossed over from his outside draw to lead but had no answer when Lusis Naturea swept by in the straight, and the Noel Kelly-trained 5-2 shot coasted across the line nine and a half lengths in front.< Poitin (11-2) registered her fourth course victory in the Money Back 2nd At Titanbet.co.uk Apprentice Handicap.
