Ger Lyons and Colin Keane landed a double at Dundalk, culminating in Cape Wolfe s win in the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap.< Ishebayorgrey looked to have stolen a march on his rivals at the furlong pole, but Cape Wolfe (5-1) responded to Keane's urgings in fine style, swooping late to score by a length.
Lyons and Keane initially struck with Birdcage who ran out a bloodless winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Maiden.
The youngster had impressed on her debut and was the 4-11 favourite as a consequence, but made all with the minimum of fuss, with Keane only having to push her out to beat Miss Phillyjinks by four and a half lengths.< Morselle showed the benefit of her Gowran debut when landing the Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk Stadium Fillies Maiden.
Dermot Weld's 5-2 favourite could be seen travelling best of all at the two furlong pole, and ran on nicely for Pat Smullen to score by a length and a quarter from Ortiga
Weld and Smullen's bid for a double was just denied when their Don Camillo was outbattled by Johnny Murtagh's well-backed 7-4 favourite Hardstone in the Champions Restaurant Dining At Dundalk Stadium Handicap under Niall McCullagh.< Ostatnia also made all to score, but her margin of victory was much narrower in the Group Discounts At Dundalk Stadium Maiden.
Billy Lee led on Willie McCreery's 6-4 favourite turning for home, but they were pressed all the way to the line by Zaindera eventually prevailing by a head.< Chatterton (3-1) landed the Follow Us On Twitter Handicap for Paul Flynn and Shane Foley, while the Hen And Stag Parties At Dundalk Stadium Handicap went to the Anthony McCann-trained Shabra Emperor (14-1) under Fran Berry.< Mountmills (16-1) ran out a solid winner of the wide-open 12th July Marshes Shopping Centre Dual Race Day Handicap for trainer Anthony Mulholland and jockey Declan McDonogh.
