< Sky Lantern produced an impressive turn of foot to land the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh for British champion trainer Richard Hannon.

The grey, supplemented into the Group One race, travelled in mid-division and gave Richard Hughes a great response when he asked her to quicken up passing the two-furlong pole.

The filly (7-1) soon went clear and easily held Jim Bolger's outsider Scintillula by two and a half lengths, with the favourite Harasiya in third place after holding every chance.

Dermot Weld's amazing seven-year-old Famous Name wrapped up his 20th career victory with a success at Group Three level in the Refuse To Bend Solonaway Stakes.

It wasn't as easy as his 2-5 starting price suggested as he had to be rousted along by Pat Smullen at the furlong pole, but he was well in command at the line to beat One Spirit by two and three-quarter lengths.

There was a thrilling finish to the Group Two Irresistible Jewel Blandford Stakes and it went to the Aidan O'Brien-trained 3-1 joint favourite Up who got there in the final strides.

Last year's winner Manieree tried to make all and still led entering the final 100 yards, but she was caught by Caponata who was herself collared by Up as Joseph O'Brien's mount pounced to score by a short head.

Jim Bolger's juvenile Leitir Mor (11-1), second six times, finally broke his duck when he led inside the final furlong of the Group Three Go And Go Round Tower Stakes under Kevin Manning and held Cougar Ridge by a short head.

John Oxx introduced a promising sort in the Aga Khan's Tarana (12-1), who put in all her best work in the final quarter-mile as she took the Moyglare 50 EBF Fillies Maiden by two lengths in the hands of Niall McCullagh.

The trainer and owner doubled up when Ebazan (11-4 favourite) stayed on strongly under Colm O'Donoghue to land the Unaccompanied Maiden.

Ken Condon's lightly raced Montebell (9-2) returned from a lay-off to win the valuable Profound Beauty EBF Autumn Fillies Handicap under Shane Foley.
