Odds-on backers were given a massive fright in the UCC Horse Racing Society Hurdle at Cork, as Bonbon Au Miel held off the challenge of Lilshane in a thrilling finish.
The 1-2 market leader raced in second until joining Head Turner at the head of affairs at the third-last, and quickly established a clear advantage.
Lilshane went in pursuit but didn't look a real danger until Bonbon Au Miel was slowly away from the final flight. He may have even taken the lead, only for Willie Mullins' game Bonbon Au Miel to have his head down where it mattered.< Leomar was turned over at odds-on in the CITSU Maiden Hurdle by Shes Flat Tothemat (7-4), who gave jockey Barry John Foley compensation for Lilshane's narrow defeat.
Leomar had Mick Winters' filly back in fourth when runner-up at Wexford last week, but clearly isn't progressing as quickly, and Shes Flat Tothemat overturned the form to run out a three-length victor.
The versatile Westerner Point registered his fourth victory from his last five outings in the UCC Don't Step On The Crest Handicap Hurdle.
Rated 29lb lower than his chasing mark, the 6-4 favourite had too much for Captainofthefleet over the final couple of flights and triumphed by two and three-quarter lengths.< Kaiser Black proved to be a class apart from his four rivals in the UCC Goes Racing Maiden Hurdle.
Second at Leopardstown on his previous appearance, the 4-6 favourite looked like he had just joined in when swinging for home hard on the bridle, and it didn't take much effort to put 14 lengths between himself and Macs Legend at the line.< Sunset Sadie caught the eye at Thurles recently and took another significant step forward to claim top honours in the CIT Raise And Give Handicap Hurdle at odds of 7-1.< Time And Times (6-1) overcame a blunder at the final flight to land the CIT Cream Of The Crop (QR) Handicap Hurdle, while Catwalk King ran away with the Racing Home For Easter Festival April 15th - 17th (Ladies Pro/Am) Flat Race.
