The concluding newcomers Freshford Bumper at Gowran today went to the Tony Mullins trained You'll Be Grand which impressively won for owner/jockey Barry Connell.

Afterwards Mullins reported “You'll Be Grand has shown plenty of 'boot' at home but does seem to prefer better ground. He may have to travel to Britain for his winners' bumper in order to find more nice ground.”
