Yaha Fizz has developed into one of the most progressive horses in recent months and today won his third consecutive race of the year when landing the Jordan's Centra Supp Kill Rated Novice Hurdle at Naas today, for trainer Eamonn Delany and regular jockey Ryan Treacy.
The son of Zagreb had failed to win in eight initial tries, including when beaten 42L as a 2/1 favourite at Ballinrobe in May, but finally lost his maiden status at today’s venue on January before adding to the tally with his second at Navan on January 21.
Today Yaha Fizz was at his best and made all at a blistering 17 lengths win over Fit To Be Tied
Afterwards Alan Delany, son of the winning trainer, stated “he did it well. We thought he had improved from the last day.
“We work him on his own at home, because he can get a bit revved up. Physically he looked to have improved but there is only one way to find out - and thankfully we found out.
“We’ll see what the handicapper does and review where we go again. He’ll stay over hurdles this season anyway.”
