Dual point-to-point and bumper scorer Ya Boy Ya deservedly got a turn over flights in the Comeragh Veterinary Maiden Hurdle at Tramore.
Owned by the Orphan Girl Syndicate and trained by Colin Bowe, the 5/4 favourite was always to the fore on the way to a four length success over the patiently ridden Master Artist
Winning rider James Kenny explained: "He was due the win, he had a couple of close seconds to be fair to him. He won a couple of point-to-points so I knew he'd stay well. I made plenty of use of him and his jumping was a big help.
"I've been with Colin for the last three years and it's a great place to work, you'd learn plenty there. I'm in Colin's every morning and then I do a bit of work at home with my father Liam in the afternoon, he trains a few as well."
