Sense Of Worth secured back-to-back wins at Dundalk but again gave his backers a scare late on.

The Andy Oliver-trained gelding only got home by a nose here eight days ago after running around in front in the closing stages.

It was a similar story in this afternoon's ten furlong handicap when Sam Ewing sent the 7/2 shot to the front a furlong-and-a-half from home.

The massive Street Sense gelding drifted badly right inside the final furlong but still had enough up his sleeve to record a length-and-a-half win over stable-mate Dream Tale

Oliver said:- “He put it together last week when he was very green.

“We got a 15lb hike which I thought was quite severe. I spoke to the handicapper then and I've just texted him and said my apologies 'you were right' so I wish to give him credit because he was right.

“He did it again, he ran about and is still a big green horse. We had to run him because there is nothing else for him for a few weeks.

“We'll give him a week or two now and then see where we go. I think there is maybe a race in Leopardstown for him.

“He'll probably get another few pounds now. That looked an interesting enough little race beforehand and he was able to step up.”
